Little Wings is the project of Kyle Field, a living legend among the inner workings of those in-the-know. As a celebrated musician and painter for a mystic “outsider” style of art, Kyle infuses a magical and surreal quality to everything he touches. But don’t get too comfortable. Just when you think you have him figured out he takes a completely different turn.
His discography spans decades. Releasing records on celebrated labels such as K Records, Woodsist and his very own Rad Records. Kyle’s albums, although ranging in fidelity, embrace a continuous tone that defines Little Wings. His lyricism is funny, but heartbreaking. His voice; loose, free and endearing.
Kyle isn’t bound to the characteristics of a decade or scene. Not because he avoided them, but because he’s transcended them.
